Osborn up for leading public relations award

August 1, 2021

Being named as a finalist for a leading public relations award has brought further recognition for growing agency Osborn Communications.

Chris Leggett, founder of Osborn, which delivers content and media support for small-to-medium sized enterprises and start-ups, was named among the finalists for the Independent PR Practitioner of the Year prize at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Midland Pride Awards.

The recognition for the agency, which only launched in summer 2020, from one of the leading industry bodies for PR comes after Osborn was named as a finalist for the Excellence in Sales and Marketing award at last Tuesday’s Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce Awards.

The awards finalist placing was announced on Twitter on July 29

Since its launch Osborn, named after founder and former BBC journalist Chris’s middle name, has delivered quality content and public relations work for retained clients, all benefitting from significant national and regional media expertise.

Osborn has also delivered project work for businesses and organisations wanting practical and trusted support to share their messages with audiences as they rebuild from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chris Leggett said: “For a growing business which is new to its field, receiving recognition through an award finalist placing from such a prestigious industry organisation as the CIPR means a great deal.

“Osborn is very much a team effort so it is not about individual achievement but the progress made by a group of people, including our associates. I am very grateful to everyone who has supported us so far and look forward to delivering future success for our clients.”

The CIPR Midland Pride Awards will take place virtually on October 5. To book your ticket go to: Midlands – CIPR Awards
