Award-winning PR and content agency Osborn Communications has vowed to act over its environmental responsibilities by signing up to the West Midlands Net Zero Pledge.
Osborn Communications have committed to reducing their impact on the planet by taking up the Net Zero Pledge, the drive launched by the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) to encourage organisations to take practical steps to help the environment.
Managed by Sustainability West Midlands on behalf of the WMCA, the West Midlands Net Zero Business Pledge is undertaken by businesses wanting to be part of the region’s drive to “lead the green revolution and become a net zero carbon economy by 2041”.
Osborn Communications, which provides strategic PR and media relations support services to businesses to boost their reputation, won the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Start-up of the Year award last year. The team have engaged with not-for-profit Sustainability West Midlands to take practical steps to reduce their environmental impact.
Osborn Communications are an example of how every business, irrespective of size, can take small steps which make a big difference.

Osborn Communications Director Chris Leggett said: “As an independent agency which mixes remote and office working, we recognise we can play our part in reducing our environmental impact. The Net Zero Pledge is a great vehicle for getting support on meaningful steps including reducing unnecessary travel and ensuring client work and processes are electronic wherever possible.
“Whilst we are committed to taking steps to focus on our own environmental impact, we also work closely with clients to guide them and provide practical advice to reduce their own carbon footprint, with several signing up already to take the Net Zero Pledge.”
Anna Bright, CEO of Sustainability West Midlands, said: “We welcome the measures which Osborn Communications are introducing to make changes which will reduce their environmental impact.
“Our role is to act as a catalyst for change through our advice to business leaders and to develop practical solutions. Osborn Communications are an example of how every business, irrespective of size, can take small steps which make a big difference.”
As well as offering PR and content services which reach large audiences, Osborn specialises in training senior managers to communicate better and award entry writing. To date, 86 finalist spots have been secured for clients in less than 12 months from entries produced by the team, with 14 award wins so far.
