They have also assessed entries and selected winners as judges, often in fiercely competitive categories.

Osborn Communications’ Clare Knowles commented: “Awards writing can be a daunting process for businesses but can also be extremely rewarding when you are recognised as a finalist or a winner.

“The key is to make your story stand out and catch the judges’ attention. Take your time, plan your approach, cover the judging criteria, and ensure you have data to back up what you are saying.

“There are so many benefits to entering awards including recognition, networking opportunities, boosting employee morale and shining a light on stand out initiatives in your business and sector.”

With 60 award finalist placings for clients since the business launched in the summer of 2020, Osborn won the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Start-up of the year 2021.

To date, 12 awards have been won through Osborn submissions, with more to be announced this spring.
