The website for Vacuum & Atmosphere Services has been relaunched with Osborn to promote the leading furnace servicing specialists’ high-quality products and services.
The new website showcases the full breadth of expertise, products and services offered by Vacuum & Atmosphere Services, sharing their recent successes and demonstrating the team’s commitment to exceptional end-to-end customer service.
The website was delivered by J Turner Web Services, working with content specialists Osborn Communications. Stunning images of the business at work were taken by Kaye Deere.
Based in Smethwick, VAS is a trusted partner for leading brands such as Mercedes, GE Power, Moog and Collins Aerospace and recognised as an engineering company run by engineers.
VAS was launched in 2000 by two engineers to offer vacuum and atmosphere furnace services and has progressed to employ 35 people and offer the full-service package for the heat treatment industry, ranging from bespoke new furnaces to spare parts.

This year VAS has become an official partner for industrial furnace manufacturer Nabertherm GmbH to act as the provider of after-care and other complementary services, secured ISO 17025 which enables holders to demonstrate that they operate competently and generate valid results and acquired distributor and stockist of industrial vacuum pump spares Vacuum Pump Spares Limited.

The launch of the VAS website comes on the back of a new digital presence being delivered by award-winning Osborn for Walsall Business Support, which was set up to help grow business and skills in the West Midlands town.
The agency, the 2021 start-up business of the year at the prestigious Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards, delivered a brand identity for WBS, drawing upon its heritage in the region.
Osborn launched the first WBS website, again working with J Turner Web Services, plus a communications strategy incorporating key social media accounts. After securing key media interest in the first grants to be delivered by WBS, Osborn represented the funders in liaising with broadcast media, resulting in an appearance on BBC TV after the group contributed £10,000 to support the world-famous local leather skills industry.
