Osborn named as start up award finalist

Osborn Communications has been named as a finalist for a prestigious start up business award – our third award finalist placing in two months.

PR and content agency Osborn is up for the Start Up prize at the 2021 West Midlands Business Masters Awards, organised by regional news website Business Desk.

TheBusinessDesk.com launched the 2021 West Midlands Business Masters Awards to celebrate the companies in the region which have achieved outstanding results over the past 12 months. The winners will be revealed at TheBusinessDesk.com’s annual West Midlands dinner on November 11 at the Macdonald Burlington hotel in Birmingham.

The latest recognition comes only weeks after Chris Leggett, founder of Osborn, which delivers content and media support for small-to-medium sized enterprises and start-ups, was named among the finalists for the Independent PR Practitioner of the Year prize at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Midland Pride Awards.

In June, Osborn, which only launched in summer 2020, was named as a finalist for the Excellence in Sales and Marketing award at the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce Awards.

Since its launch Osborn, named after founder and former BBC journalist Chris’s middle name, has delivered effective content and public relations campaigns for retained clients, all benefitting from significant national, regional and sector media expertise.

This coverage has included broadcast media appearances for large audiences, both on TV and radio. Osborn has also delivered quality project work for businesses and organisations wanting practical and trusted support to share their messages with audiences as they rebuild from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chris Leggett said: “Being recognised as one of the leading start-up businesses in the West Midlands just a year after launching is a great endorsement of the impact we have had in a short period of time. We are proud of the positive difference we have made for clients and looking forward to building on the success to date.

“We work with businesses and organisations who have a problem getting their positive news in front of target audiences. We provide practical support through effective content creation so that their organisations gain recognition and engagement, which means they can feel confident about generating new opportunities.”
